"I made a adapter for my Drone engine so I could mount a Thunder Tiger GP15 carburetor on the engine. I used Davis Diesel Development Fuel and I was running a Master Airscrew 13x6 propeller on it. When I ran it previously without a muffler and a APC 12x8 prop, it seemed a little under size on the prop, so I tried a MA 13x6, but the prop seems like it is a little oversized with it, but the engine did run pretty good though with the prop on it. The fuel turning dark tends to mean it is a little over compressed. So with this engine, it probably runs best with something like a 12x8 prop, maybe a 12x9 or a 13x4 or 13x5 prop or a thinner 13x6 prop."

"This is a older 1980's model Fox .45 glow engine converted to a compression ignition engine (model diesel) using a Davis Diesel Development conversion head. I used Davis Diesel fuel with the engine. The propeller is a Master Airscrew 12x8.
I also replaced the old butterfly valve carburetor with a New Fox two needle carburetor. The new Fox carburetor works really well. My old Saito .FA-80 four stroke engine turns a APC 12x8 prop at about 10,000 RPMs whereas the Fox turns the MA 12x8 prop at 9,400 RPMs. The MA prop takes more power to turn in comparison to a APC prop."
